Lithium carbonate, alias high-purity lithium carbonate, is an inorganic compound with a chemical formula of Li2CO3 and a colorless monoclinic crystal or a white powder. The density was 2.11 g/cm 3 and the melting point was 618 °C. Slightly soluble in water, less soluble in cold water than in hot water. Lithium carbonate can be used for making ceramics, catalysts, and the like.
